Snowflake is excited to grow our team and find an experienced Benefits Analyst to join our fun, high growth global company. Our ideal candidate has excellent communication and relationship-building skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, vendor management experience and well versed in benefit compliance laws. You’ll be responsible for supporting the benefit programs and vendors, helping us achieve our goals of providing world-class solutions for our employees and their families.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Support new and existing benefits programs internationally including medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, meal vouchers and cycle to work schemes.
  • Manage the benefit administration process, including benefit enrolment systems, vendor management, invoice review and processing, raising of purchase orders and employee communications.
  • Lead supplier evaluation process end to end (analyze RFPs, selection, on-boarding by executing screening processes), participates in annual reviews, negotiate competitive contracts, tracks and leads master agreements negotiations in partner with other groups like procurements, security, privacy etc.
  • Support the implementation and administration of Benefex to help with the digital transformation of Snowflake benefits for our countries and drive increased engagement for our Snowflake employees
  • Work with the local Snowflake Benefit Program Manager to identify market competitive insured benefit plans and ensure compliance within the regulatory environment.
  • Assist with evaluating benefits policies and programs and make recommendations to ensure that programs are current, competitive and in compliance with legal requirements.
  • Partner with our global benefit consultant and local benefit brokers and vendors.
  • Partner with third party administrators to resolve employee claim issues and inquiries as needed.
  • Support projects focused on driving operational excellence around digital transformation of benefit systems and solutions
  • Administer corporate wellness programs, initiatives, and activities with a focus on increasing employee engagement and helping to build a strong culture of health and wellbeing.
  • Be a collaborative partner to the HRBP, Recruitment teams, Payroll and Finance

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5-7 years of benefits administration experience
  • Experience in administering market competitive benefit programs that provide an exceptional employee experience within a high-growth technology company
  • Working knowledge of international country specific regulations, filing and compliance requirements, employee benefit programs, including statutory and insured pension plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across the organization. Strong problem-solving experience with high attention to detail
  • Self-motivated, organized, and accountable with ability to demonstrate appropriate judgement needed to operate independently under limited supervision
  • Experience with HR/Benefit Technology preferred. Preferably Benefex, Workday and ServiceNow.
  • Proficient in MS Suite, strong Excel skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) and customer service skills and ability to build partnerships and establish rapport and credibility at all levels.
  • You are fluent in English (spoken and written), proficiency in other languages is a plus (not a must)
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude. Ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
