Snowflake is seeking an Educational Services Sales Manager dedicated to selling all aspects of our Educational Services offerings in EMEA.  Do you have a background in technical education sales, consider yourself a strong communicator and enjoy a fast paced, high growth market?  If so this could be a great fit for you. 

Snowflake is looking for a senior Sales contributor who understands business trends impacting the Cloud industry and is passionate about helping enable customers to be successful. 

Your responsibilities will include building and managing training programs for customers.  This role will be focused on both bookings as well as driving revenue and implementing solutions to affect positive outcomes.  To be successful, this individual will need to build key relationships with both the account teams and professional services team. 

The ideal candidate will possess an Education Sales background in the technology industry and be comfortable  engaging with C-level customers. The candidate must also have experience building global training plans, presenting compelling presentations, and demonstrate the ability to think strategically.  This role will report to the Sr. Director of Education Services but the individual must be a self-starter and take ownership to drive opportunities to quota attainment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Serve as a key member of the Education team to drive Snowflake’s training initiatives in the market
  • Meet or exceed bookings and revenue targets
  • Develop long term relationships and training plans for key accounts
  • Interact with prospects, partners, and internal team members to build sales pipeline
  • Work in conjunction with professional services for the creation of a statement of work for custom engagements
  • Work with the Sr. Director of Education Services around contract negotiations
  • Work with Salesforce to generate forecast reports and track pipeline
  • Work with Snowflake tools such as PSA for backlog tracking
  • Proactively reach out to customers with paid training and work closely with Education operations related to scheduling of sold courses
  • Expect up to 20% travel

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • BA/BS degree and 5 years of experience in Education Sales
  • Exceptional communication skills while multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Self starter that can prioritize and complete work on concurrent projects and tasks
  • Adept at project management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proven verbal and written communications skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
  • Relevant technical knowledge is helpful, such as: database systems and fundamentals of cloud computing and virtualization with ability to go deep enough on relevant technologies key to the industry
