The Snowflake Benefits Team is growing and looking for an experienced Employee Benefits Project and M&A Manager to join us in supporting our growth and improving our processes. Our ideal candidate has excellent communications and relationship-building skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, strong vendor management skills and subject matter expertise in benefit compliance laws.  

In this role you will provide support in all global M&A activity for the benefits team, create and manage our global compliance calendar, assist local teams in vendor onboarding for global benefits, partner with local teams on cyclical projects such as renewals and Open Enrollment, and help oversee our key partnerships. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage all aspects of employee benefits due diligence, integration and post-close benefit activities and requirements during M&As. 
  • Assist team in new benefits vendor onboarding domestically and internationally. Act as point-of-contact for procurement, legal and security. 
  • Create and manage an annual global compliance calendar. 
  • Oversee and complete domestic US compliance activities. 
  • Provide support in other areas of the department 
  • Ensure employee benefit sites are maintained with correct and up-to-date information throughout the year and at renewals. 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 10 or more years of employee benefits management experience with demonstrated skills in managing multiple, and highly visible projects at the same time. 
  • Five or more years of M&A experience, specifically in benefits due diligence and integration. 
  • Self-motivated, organized and accountable with ability to demonstrate appropriate judgment needed to operate independently under limited supervision. 
  • Team player with a sense of ownership and “get things done” attitude. 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products and concepts, specifically including the following: 
  • All health & welfare benefit plans: Medical, Dental, Life, LTD, STD, Vision 
  • Regulatory environment of employee benefits plans (e.g., ACA, ERISA, HIPAA) 
  • Critical skill set includes: 
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills  
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to clearly communicate at all levels of the organization. 
    • Ability to create and maintain strong working relationships within the company and with our vendor partners. 
    • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment with frequently shifting priorities 
    • Highly proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint 
  • Helpful skills: 
    • Working knowledge of the G-Suite environment (e.g., GDrive, Gmail, Sheets, etc...)
