The Manager, Finance Operations with responsibility for Accounts Payable and Payments, is a key member of the global controllership team, interacting with all levels of external and internal stakeholders. The ideal team member must be a highly motivated, transformational leader, with experience driving business process strategies and initiatives resulting in efficiency and organizational value across finance and other operational support functions. The role includes leading collaboration, change management, innovation, and adoption of cutting edge, efficient processes throughout the organization. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of customer service orientation to meet the needs of internal customers and business partners. This role will require an experienced, transformational leader with a focus on the user experience, continuous process improvement and optimization of processes and systems.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement and innovation that values learning and a commitment to quality.
  • Lead team members in multiple locations, ensuring that the team is operating efficiently, and expenses are paid timely and accurately.
  • Evaluate and optimize processing of transactions on multiple payment platforms.
  • Review and approve payments in the different payment platforms.
  • Review and recommend changes to existing policies and procedures and ensure that they are managed correctly, employing best practices.
  • Review/rethink our overall AP process and approval flows, and lead the team in developing a cohesive process along with process documentation.
  • Coordinate with Procurement and Treasury to gain departmental efficiencies.
  • Establish, analyze and publish key performance metrics.
  • Ensure accurate 1099 reporting.
  • Support the Treasury, Tax, Legal and Financial Planning & Analysis teams on a regular basis.
  • Participate and/or lead project work as needed to support and scale our business processes.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related field; MBA desirable
  • 10-15 years of management experience in finance operations, including accounts payable and payment operations
  • Proven ability to work successfully and lead change within a global organization with strong analytics and big picture capabilities in problem solving
  • Experience leading and managing an AP system implementation or shared services organization
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems, lead, challenge and positively influence teams, including coaching, development, and performance management in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • Knowledge working with international accounting, internal controls, financial systems, and processes
  • Direct experience with annual audits
  • Superior communication skills (written and verbal) including a proven ability to engage with senior leadership
  • Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate a diverse team across multiple geographic locations
  • Must possess strong analytical, problem-solving and change management skills; business acumen; leadership skills; oral and written communication skills; and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to delivering quality results and overcoming obstacles and challenges in a time sensitive environment
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment
  • Strong project management skills or certification highly desired
