Our Value Engineering organization at Snowflake is growing and building an operations center in India. 

 VALUE ENGINEERING OPERATIONS:

Our mission is to give our sellers and value engineering the tools they need to help customers uncover and articulate how Snowflake creates quantifiable business value. We do this through developing value selling tools and enablement programs, self-serve business case tools, value benchmarks, and much more! We focus on helping Value Managers, Account Executives, and solution engineers scale their impact and build expert analysis across their regions and verticals.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a founding member of our scalability team, you’ll collaborate with global Value Engineers to help the team scale, improve our existing digital assets, expand their scope of services, and push the practice forward. Below are the service lines that will be supported and led by our scalability team

  • Manage & Maintain Value Engineering Tools
  • Define, Develop our Value Realization Surveys, Customer Case Studies, and Databases
  • Value Engineering Operations Mgmt. and Reporting
  • Research and Analytical Support

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project manage a wide variety of initiatives aimed to scale the practice and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Value Managers, Account Executives.
  • Nurture and Manage a team of resources that support various VE service lines: 
    • Product Management of Value Engineering tools and applications like business value tools
    • Value Realization Lead: Design and maintain value realization surveys, value benchmarking databases, etc.
    • Support thought leadership and special initiatives, including price performance optimization, Value Engineering PoVs for new workloads, use cases, etc.
    • Value Engineering Operations: Develop governance and reporting process for managing the operations team. VE operations include managing and maintaining knowledge assets and managing subscription-related matters for vendors for the VE team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably in offshore knowledge centers, including two years of experience in management, consulting, value consulting, value engineering, financial/investment analysis, and other applicable roles
  • Strong business consulting skill-set and excellent written communication skills
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams and some people management experience will be a plus.
  • Skilled at working with datasets and data modeling data analysis, excel, and number crunching
  • Experience in conducting quantitative analysis and familiarity with financial modeling

 PREFERRED :

  • A graduate degree in business and analytics is highly preferable
  • Understanding of software deal dynamics and ability to think strategically about driving software opportunities forward
  • A highly strategic problem solver that can prioritize requests based on serving the broader goals of the organization
  • Thrives in an unstructured environment
  • Adaptable and able to shift gears comfortably as business needs evolve
  • Meticulously organized and able to deliver committed results in a fast-paced, high-quality environment
  • A self-starter willing to self-educate and explore the ins and outs of the Value Engineering practice
  • Ability to articulate Snowflake’s value proposition
  • Strong listening and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
