ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Product Enablement Lead to join our Enablement Operations team. Reporting to the Director for Enablement Operations, you will be responsible for designing and implementing learning solutions that support our Product Enablement strategy across Snowflake’s go-to-market organization (Sales, Sales Engineering, and all supporting roles).  Responsibilities will include the design, build, and deployment of a field-wide Product curriculum, learning architecture, and predictable cadence of opportunities to engage with Product related content.  These responsibilities will be undertaken in close collaboration with Sales Leadership as well as key cross-functional partners and stakeholders (i.e. Product, Product Marketing, and Field CTO). Key aspects of this role will include:

  • Cohesive Curriculum consisting of consumable content accessible across all field-facing roles and content levels (100, 200, and 300 levels)
  • Uniformity across deliverables, multiple entry points for surfacing learning and training, and a predictable catalog and calendar of opportunities to engage with Product Enablement. 
  • Consistent Reporting Cadence that provides visibility for leadership on mandatory engagement as well as on-demand Enablement consumption. 
  • Robust alignment with Sales leadership on the Product Enablement approach
  • Close Collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product Marketing, Product, Field CTO as well as Industry and Data Cloud selling specialists. 

ABOUT YOU

You have a strong background in instructional design/Learning Experience Design and a proven track record of success in developing and implementing learning solutions for technical products. You are experienced in both developing learning assets as well as delegating the development of assets to a team of  Instructional Designers. You are a team player that also knows how to take the lead on projects. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct research to understand the needs of the go-to-market organization and develop a product learning strategy to meet those needs
  • Develop a consistent approach to Product Enablement
  • Partner with Marketing to deliver content that is consumable for a Sales audience, highly relevant to the field, and enables effective sales conversations. 
  • Liaise with sales principals specialists to identify opportunities to help the field deliver customer-level conversations based on product knowledge and Snowflake positioning.
  • Work with subject matter experts to develop product course materials and learning activities, using a variety of instructional design methods and technologies.
  • Manage the implementation of product learning programs, ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Track the effectiveness of product learning programs and make adjustments as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and best practices in instructional design and learning technology.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in instructional design, education, or a related field/buisness experience
  • Experience designing learning for technical products/companies
  • Proven experience as a learning architect or instructional designer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with a variety of instructional design methods and technologies
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design theory
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once
