Snowflake is seeking a versatile and results-driven Revenue Operations Manager to join us at our office in Dublin, CA. This role will be primarily responsible for team leadership and coaching, timely and accurate reporting of Professional Services and foreign subsidiaries revenue. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, a critical thinker with attention to detail and strategic approach to solving problems and is able to thrive in a dynamic environment. 

AS A REVENUE OPERATIONS MANAGER YOU WILL:  

  • Manage the day-to-day revenue accounting activities such as revenue system data validation and reconciliation 
  • Perform month end close activities including review of journal entries, accounts reconciliations, flux analysis and revenue disclosures  
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services organization in streamlining processes and driving efficiency by leveraging CLM and revenue system
  • Assist in the design and documentation of key SOX controls and business processes in support of revenue system to effectively mitigate financial statement risks
  • Work cross-functionally with Order Management, Billing, and IT on system enhancements and process changes to shorten the accounting close cycle while still maintaining high degree of accounting accuracy
  • Lead special projects or initiatives as needed
  • Provide training to internal and external stakeholders as needed  

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

  • 5-10+ years of revenue accounting and related experience under US GAAP, preferably in the Technology industry 
  • 2+ years in People Leadership/Managerial role with demonstrated leadership skills 
  • Detailed knowledge of ASC 606 and related revenue pronouncements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required
  • CPA or equivalent accounting certification is strongly preferred
  • Advanced skills in Excel; experience with SFDC, Workday or other ERP system, Tableau, and revenue accounting system (e.g., RevPro, RAR)
  • Ability to manage tight deadlines, prioritize workload and achieve effective results in a fast-paced, dynamic, and often ambiguous environment; effective multi-tasking skills are vital
  • Must have the confidence to lead, the ability to exercise good judgment across all levels of management
  • Creative mind to solve big-picture problems and a strong understanding of larger-company finance and accounting practices
