Snowflake’s IT organization is seeking a Salesforce developer who has worked on Salesforce Service Cloud / Communities to join our growing team. In this role you will have the opportunity to build business applications and design features to improve the reliability of our applications and systems. As the Salesforce Service Cloud developer you are responsible to translate business needs into technical specifications, design and development solutions, test and deploy them into production.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Have experience developing and configuring the Salesforce Service Cloud using the Lightning Framework.
  • Design and Develop custom data model, user interface, business logic for customer communities using lightning components.
  • Provide day to day Service Cloud platform and user support
  • Maintain and configure our development and test instances for our internal sandboxes.
  • Communicate and work effectively with cross functional teams including business teams, product teams, global IT Apps teams, consultants & vendors
  • Strong desire to learn. You are energized when new features and technologies become available and eager to understand them and maximize their potential.
  • Actively contribute to building and troubleshooting process automation across our Salesforce instance

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree required in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Technology, or in a related field
  • 3+ years of Experience developing on the Salesforce Platform
  • 2+ years’ experience delivering solutions for Customer Communities on the Community Cloud platform
  • Experience in designing and implementing Salesforce Service Cloud using Community Cloud for Customer community
  • Experience working with Salesforce communities, Apex, SOQL, VisualForce, Lightning, JavaScript, Eclipse IDE, WorkBench, Data Loader, Ant tool, Reports and Dashboards
  • Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Objects and Data Model
  • Good understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and strong sense of ownership

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator OR Advanced Administrator must
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I must
