This team drives our “out of the box” analyst, data science, and ML tools for our most engaged users. You’ll deliver lightweight but surprisingly powerful UI’s used by legions of analysts at companies of all sizes, collaboration experiences that enable teams to work together, and visualization surfaces that breathe life into data. Think of highly interactive surfaces like code editors, data visualization editors, and more.
This is a high-growth opportunity on a quickly scaling design team.
YOUR IMPACT:

- Deeply integrate the full power of Snowflake’s unique platform capabilities into these surfaces
- Grow adoption of existing products by continuously refining the user experience
- Develop new, zero to one solutions for emerging opportunities
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage and grow a world class product design team
- Champion and nurture a culture of innovation and quality for your team
- Drive vision and execution for your team, making sure we’re tackling big opportunities in a predictable way
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product leadership on roadmap and execution
- Collaborate closely with design leadership to align initiatives with the broader platform
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years managing a product design team focused on productivity software — e.g. products that people use daily to create, collaborate, and produce
- Experience holding a high quality bar while staying in touch with customers and delivering quickly
- Experience collaborating very closely with engineering and product to prioritize, scope, and execute
- Experience hiring, onboarding, and empowering designers of various levels into a team
- Ideally you’ve worked on smaller teams and thrive in scrappy environments while elevating operational maturity
NICE TO HAVE:
- Deep experience with web technologies and platforms
- Experience with data visualization
- Experience with text-editing interfaces
