We are looking for a Senior Executive Communications Manager to join our Marketing team who can bring the enthusiastic drive and experience to continue to grow our communications function. You have a background in crafting communications strategies to inform and motivate audiences; skillfully manage and partner with executives on their communications; and roll up your sleeves to get work done. 

You will partner with several top company executives to drive external awareness of Snowflake’s vision, technology, customers and leadership. The ideal candidate will lead both a strategic program for these key company spokespeople as well as execute their communications activities with a keen eye for detail. 

This role will report to the Senior Director of Executive Communications within the Marketing organization, and is based out of our San Mateo, CA office. This is not a remote position. 

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Agency-style support across several top company executives 
  • Drive programs that include podcasts, blog posts, speaking events, social media, and partnering with the PR team on media interviews
  • Develop content that aligns to Snowflake’s priorities and position our leaders as credible business and technology spokespeople
  • Partner with key subject matter experts (SMEs) across the company to develop content and prepare the executive for their engagement
  • Use your expertise with evaluating speaking opportunities; preparing and coaching speakers for high-profile presentations/events; and measuring impact of communications
  • Take the lead on executive comms planning and execution ranging from story creation, asset development, talk track development, visuals to presentations and rehearsal schedules
  • Continually evaluate communications impact and effectiveness and adjust accordingly to mirror Snowflake’s growth 
  • Work regularly with executives across functions, and across time zones 

REQUIREMENTS :

  • Minimum 10 years of communications experience, with at least 5 years of working with C-level executives  
  • Extraordinary executive maturity, including experience coaching leaders and handling confidential content
  • Flawless writing and editing skills
  • Strong business and technical acumen
  • Strong attention to detail and thrive working in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
  • The ability to ramp quickly, work autonomously, and complete many projects simultaneously
  • Ability to anticipate and plan for future needs, while continuing to execute high quality communications day-to-day
  • Skilled at building consensus, being persuasive, collaborating with and managing others in a matrixed organization
  • Willingness to travel as needed to each speaking location to assist with backstage logistics and final preparations
