Our Sales Strategy and Business Operations team is seeking a Senior Pricing & Commercialization Strategy Manager to join our growing team. The pricing strategy team manages Snowflake’s pricing and business models to maximize Snowflake’s long term profitability and growth. In this role you will work with leaders in product management, legal, sales and finance to solve some of our most complex commercialization and pricing problems we face today. You will be evaluating complex business issues, developing both short term fixes and long term strategic plans, and driving those proposals from ideation to implementation.

You have experience working closely with sales leaders, can empathize with their needs and speak their language. You like to “think big” - the idea of scaling 10x or 100x doesn’t faze you. You are a “full stack” player; comfortable in lead or support roles across a variety of projects and responsibilities. You have a passion for technology and embrace the transformational role data plays in the market, industry and the world.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL GET TO: 

  • Own and manage the non-standard business support process and quarterback a cross-functional team charged with evaluating and solving the most unique and innovative commercial models to serve key Snowflake customers
  • Establish a process to evaluate complex commercial model requests and drive change in our long term business strategy and roadmap
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to implement approved commercial structures and take them to market
  • Work with sales and deals desk leaders to proactively identify opportunities where unique pricing or monetization models can be used to improve deal velocity, increase market penetration, or improve profitability
  • Build out Snowflake’s global pricing & commercial enablement program and content, partner with the field enablement team to deliver pricing content and training to our field sales team
  • Be part of the small team that shapes Snowflake’s GTM strategy, a team that continues to propel Snowflake to be one of the fastest growing enterprise technology companies in history!

ON DAY ONE WE WILL EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:

  • 8+ years of professional experience with a core focus in pricing, strategic planning, sales operations, deals desk, or business operations
  • Prior experience dealing with unique commercial structures in a high growth, B2B Software, Platform and/or IaaS company
  • Fluency in relevant corporate finance, financial operations, commercial terms and accounting concepts - i.e Quote-to-cash, revenue recognition rules, etc.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; experience partnering with key internal functions to drive projects to completion; particularly Product Management, Finance, Sales, and Legal
  • Experience with synthesizing large data sets to gain insights, and use evidence to build compelling business case; prior experience working with SQL, data models and common BI tools a plus
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, ability to balance time and effort across multiple projects
  • Bachelor degree in finance, business, economics or other quantitative discipline required, MBA preferred
