AS A SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER - SHARING AND MARKETPLACE FOUNDATIONS AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:

  • Innovate the next generation Data Sharing technology.
  • Design and implement highly available distributed platforms for our Snowflake Data Marketplace.
  • Revolutionize how organizations distribute, consume, and use data as a strategic business asset.
  • Make highly visible contributions towards our Data Cloud vision. 
  • Ensure operational readiness of the services and meet the commitments to our customers regarding reliability, availability and performance.

OUR IDEAL SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER WILL HAVE:

  • 10+ years industry experience designing, building and supporting large-scale systems in production.
  • Extremely strong fundamental computer science skills.
  • Deep multi-faceted appreciation in building end-to-end customer facing products.
  • Strong Knowledge of Java.
  • Knowledge of database internals is a big plus.
  • Experience driving company initiatives towards customer satisfaction.
  • Experience working with cross teams and product managers.
  • BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.
