AUTOMATED TEST DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (STARLINK)

Would you like to become part of team developing silicon for Starlink's low earth orbit satellites that deliver broadband connectivity to the people who either do not have access to internet or have inconsistent connectivity? Come join the team working on multiple silicon projects that are driving more integration, lower power, mixed signal architectures and advanced silicon technology for deployment in space and ground infrastructures.

We are looking for an Automated Test Engineer (ATE) that has experience in developing test hardware and programs for the RF silicon in Starlink. This team works in a cutting-edge environment to developing future generation chips used in phased array antennas utilizing advanced beamforming techniques.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop test programs including wafer sort and final test programs
  • Design test hardware, such as probe card and loadboard, for high-speed SerDes testing
  • Create detailed test plans and test methodologies to meet product specifications
  • Work closely with product, design, and system engineers in the automated test-system correlation effort
  • Interface with foundry, assembly, and local sub-contractors

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline
  • 1+ years of experience developing automated test programs

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong automated test equipment (ATE) testing skills
  • Extensive background in mixed-signal test development and debugging
  • Extensive experience developing high volume parts from pre tape-out through production
  • Experience in C/C++, Python, Buildroot, OpenWRT, STBLinux, WIN32/.NET/WDK, Tensilica/Xtensa, Microchip/PIC32, and Linux
  • Probe card and loadboard design experience
  • Experience with high-speed SerDes testing and system level testing

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work long hours and weekends as needed to meet critical milestones
