SUPPLY CHAIN ANALYST (SWARM)

This is a special opportunity to work at the cutting edge of satellite and IoT technologies with a world class team focused on deploying Swarm’s solutions to the world. As a supply chain analyst, you will be responsible for delivering on a variety of key operational and business projects throughout the organization. This is a unique role for someone with an analytical skillset and who is passionate about improving the world through low-cost global connectivity.

This role requires strong organizational and analytical skill sets to drive impact within the organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally across Swarm’s production, engineering, and business teams to independently take on high impact projects and see them through to completion. Success will also require systems thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills to synthesize information that shapes strategic direction and decisions on our small, fast moving team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proactively develop, implement, and improve processes to streamline lab operations.
  • Take ownership of supply chain management and manage all parts sourcing for Swarm hardware.
  • Track parts costs to support engineering and finance teams.
     

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience leading projects through completion.
  • Experience managing and analyzing data in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
     

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Extensive project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with hardware technology.
  • Engineering degree and/or previous experience in an engineering role.
  • Experience with parts sourcing for supply chain and/or inventory management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of MS Excel (or Google Sheets), MS Project (or SmartSheet), and MS PowerPoint.
  • Experience at an early-stage technology startup.
     

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends if needed.

ITAR REQUIREMENTS:

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
