HUMAN RESOURCES COORDINATOR

This role is perfect for an early career professional looking to get experience in Human Resources. This position allows one to explore various areas of human resources as they will play a pivotal and dynamic role in supporting a fast moving and exciting organization!  This role will work with our Intern / University Program, Learning & Development, Employee Onboarding, Greenhouse and Survey teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain ongoing tracking and review documentation for the company’s Referral Program (Greenhouse)
  • Assign user permissions in Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse)
  • Support Recruiting and Diversity & Inclusion teams with basic report building in the Applicant Tracking System (Greenhouse)
  • Provide a positive experience for Starbase interns by supporting intern onboarding, orientation, exiting, and special events (Intern Program)
  • Serve as a local point of contact for intern questions, concerns and general inquiries (Intern Program)
  • Facilitate employee onboarding for all of Starbase (Employee Onboarding)
  • Facilitate new hire activities (Employee Onboarding)
  • Help facilitate / organize local training (Learning and Development)
  • Responsible for scheduling training sessions across the company (Learning and Development)
  • Assists with HR survey administration in Qualtrics and customer support (Survey)

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 1+ years of intern or professional experience in a human resources role
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Experience with HR systems, specifically Workday, Greenhouse, Qualtrics or Bridge LMS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook & Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Logical reasoning and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to complete routine and transactional tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Desire and motivation to adapt to a rapidly changing workforce

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Position requires ability to work extended hours when needed based on site operational needs; flexibility required
  • This is not a remote position and will require relocation if not already local to the Cape Canaveral area
  • Ability to pass Air Force background check for Cape Canaveral
  • Must be able to travel (up to 25%) to other SpaceX locations as needed

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
