PRODUCTION COORDINATOR (STARSHIP)

The Propulsion Components team develops the most advanced spacecraft and launch vehicle components in the world. This team owns the flow control devices that drive the critical capabilities on our Starship vehicle - from engine throttling to altitude control in extreme environments, with temperatures ranging from +900F to -400F and pressures beyond 10,000 psig. As a production coordinator, you will serve as a liaison between different organizations throughout the company to ensure that the production area flows smoothly to meet stringent deadlines and quality standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor, track, and move parts as required through the company to ensure timely delivery to next production location
  • Promote workflow consistency and accuracy across the company while working to drive down internal logistics lead-time
  • Coordinate off-site processing of parts to ensure on-time delivery
  • Resolve incorrect system data which is driving inappropriate demand, schedules, or could result in general failure
  • Identify upcoming shortages to prevent production blockers
  • Support projects or productivity development activities within assigned production cells

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalency certificate
  • 1+ years of professional experience in an administrative role

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Strong computer skills, familiar with the full suite of MS Office products
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience in organizing files and documents
  • Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems
  • Experience in aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing environments
  • SQL and PowerBi experience
  • APICS certification

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, and/or weekends as needed; nominal hours - 1st shift: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods (8 hours)
  • Must be able to lift 25 lbs. unassisted

  • To conform to U.S. Government space technology export regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) you must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
