SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars.

SR. DIGITAL DESIGN ENGINEER (STARSHIP)

As a senior member of the avionics electronics design team, you will have the exciting opportunity to be responsible for creating and driving the architecture and design of flight hardware! You will demonstrate extreme ownership of this hardware through deep understanding of its functionality, design, and requirements from concept through flight. You will work with other disciplines and contribute at a system level to ensure that your design meets mission needs and provides direct impact on mission success. Our development timelines are aggressive and you will be asked to rigorously explore solutions for previously unsolved problems.

On the Starship Avionics design team, you will be working on the systems of this new vehicle architecture from its development phase into flight operations of this orbital class vehicle. We are looking for people who want to jump in and immediately get their hands dirty in circuit design, bring-up and validation testing, and people who are not afraid to make important decisions with data driven rationale that affect design architecture and missions. Every day we push the limits of what is possible through innovation, determination, and teamwork and we’re only just beginning.
