We are looking for a sharp, organized number cruncher to join our small, but mighty finance team. From accounting to tax to treasury to planning and budgeting, our group supports all aspects of the business to make sure SurveyMonkey grows and stays healthy. What we're looking for

You will be a critical member of our growing company and will have an opportunity to make an immediate impact! You will have several responsibilities that will include invoice collections, partnering with internal business groups to resolve billing issues.  Answer customer inquiries and resolve billing concerns through The AR Zendesk case application on a timely basis. Help manage the AR portfolio by working collaboratively with upstream processes owners on generating collectable invoices and follow guidelines that downgrade a customer due to bad debt write off.

You will

  • Responsible for full-cycle collections of customer accounts. That includes but not limited to managing cases assigned to you from our AR Zendesk instance.
  • Support the department’s Collections Procedures
  • Send customer outreaches on past due invoices
  • Complete customer portal registrations and vendor forms
  • Upload invoices into customer portals as required
  • Investigate billing issues and bring to resolution by involving appropriate internal stakeholders
  • Assist in managing and updating the Downgrade list
  • Assist the team during PTO absences with Zuora billing function which includes manually generating invoices/credit memos, occasional manual invoicing, credit memo application, correcting transactions that error-out.
  • Assist the team with cash application and credit refund research of unapplied credits
  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations as needed
  • Prepare reports that include aging, cash receipt logs and unbilled reports
  • Support global sales team with questions about invoicing
  • Assist in audits
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Sales Operations, Legal and Business Systems
  • Support management by distributing timely and accurately accounts receivable Information
  • Process checks/bankruptcy notices/POs received in HQ
  • Maintain policies, documents and procedures as needed for Sarbanes Oxley 

You have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
  • 3-5 years’ experience in A/R Collections, with a technology company a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both spoken and written with a customer service focus
  • Strong analytical mind, attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness
  • Able to work effectively both as part of a team and independently
  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-past and dynamic work environment
  • Highly motivated and interested in taking the initiative for personal growth and development
  • Able to maintain focus and positive attitude during high volume of work while multi-tasking with changing priorities
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and be a solutions-oriented team player
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
  • Strong working experience in NetSuite, Zuora and Salesforce
