As a member of the Performance Ad Sales business unit, the Associate Director of Performance Growth will sit in New York City and be part of both a regional and National team responsible for the curation, growth, and stewardship of the East Coast Region’s Performance advertising campaigns. This role sits between the Sales and Customer Experience (Ad Ops) business units. and will focus on growth of currently live revenue (not pre-sales accounts.) The Associate Director of Performance Growth will support the Head of Performance Sales, East in their account cultivation and growth efforts across all live accounts within the portfolio. The Associate Director of Performance Growth will also oversee the accurate tracking of data related to campaign delivery and will be responsible for timely and effective communication both to internal parties and to clients.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Working as a strategic arm for operations & sales team to glean campaign trends and data storytelling in reporting and client outreach, focusing on growing live business
  • Overseeing post-sale process, including but not limited to QAing performance campaign builds, reporting, incremental outreach, wrap decks and QBRs
  • Training internal team on performance products, trends and any new releases that positively effects the business
  • Work with local leadership teams to implement new campaign strategies and bring performance products to market efficiently
  • Leading preparation for campaign activation through clear and concise communication efforts with the client
  • Analyzing performance data to highlight key trends
  • Being the source of truth for all performance benchmarks by ad format
  • Helping internal staff development through consistent and thorough knowledge sharing exercises
  • Locating relevant campaigns to create Teads performance case studies
  • Leading conversation around incremental asks with the Customer Experience/Operations team
  • Presenting in bi-weekly calls, being the source of knowledge for performance ops
  • Being the subject matter expert on performance implementations of Teads ads and pixel setup

Required Skills + Expertise

  • 3+ years of experience in AdOps, Account Management, Customer Success or Post-Sales Support at a relevant AdTech Vendor/Media Agency with desire for career growth into a Sales function
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, particularly in conveying technical concepts in a way that is easy for clients and non-technical partners to understand
  • Solving complex integration issues by developing a deep understanding of the Teads platform
  • Expert knowledge in Performance Advertising strategy, operations, optimization, troubleshooting
  • Deep knowledge of Programmatic; DSP campaign set up, performance optimization and SSP operations
  • Deep understanding of attribution and analytics tools 
  • Understanding of Teads inRead USP and opportunity for performance clients
  • Prior digital media experience within mobile and video, ideally with biddable/programmatic background
  • Desire to work in a changing, fast-paced environment
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills 
  • Passionate for evangelizing, teaching, learning, collaborating, and winning as a team.
