Teads are looking for a Business Development Director, based in Sydney, Australia to join our growing Strategic Accounts team. 

You will be responsible for forging partnerships and driving incremental revenue growth on key accounts in the ANZ market. This role offers the opportunity to join an industry pioneer and leader in full funnel advertising solutions, and one that is experiencing rapid Global growth.

Our advertising solutions are bought by many of the world’s largest advertisers including Stellantis, The Estee Lauder Companies, HP, Volkswagen, Visa, all major Beauty & Luxury brands, as well as P&G, Unilever, Nestle, Samsung, Apple, and many others.

The Business Development Director will also work closely with the local Sales team to support senior level agency relationships. Reporting into the local Managing Director, this person will be a key part of the STA (Strategic Teads Accounts) developing the #advertiserfirst strategy in the ANZ market.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and scale collaborative relationships with top Advertisers in ANZ. 
  • You’ll have overall responsibility for delivery of numbers and be the expert on these businesses, and to deliver solutions to best fit advertiser needs.
  • Ensure that the Client media team actively supports/endorses the use of Teads and part of their core media mix. 
  • Build relations at the most senior level across all client departments (Marketing, Insights, Data).
  • Maximise client’s media investment – working closely with the sales team to deliver the numbers locally; ensure Teads is in all Core media plans, activation budgets. 
  • Develop best in class communication and decks tailored to client and their needs
  • Support the local markets to unlock opportunities by leveraging existing and proactive relationship to help set up meetings, attend key local meetings as appropriate
  • Share best practice with teams
  • Drive external and internal market knowledge and insights
  • Proactive engagement with industry committees and conferences
  • Serve as an industry expert in order to drive vertical and client success by developing thought leadership within your vertical(s)

  • Strong understanding and background in media industry with Advertisers
  • Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision makers
  • Proven experience in collaborative to build long term sustainable partnership growth
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of online video, display and performance 
  • Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach
  • Ability to convert business from other media channels
