Teads is seeking a driven, strategic minded performance specialist to join its UK Sales & Performance team. As a Business Development Director, your primary focus will be to lead the commercial endeavours of the performance arm of the business, supporting the UK sales team in order to drive revenue growth across the client portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sell traffic acquisition & performance to big six group agencies, independent agencies and direct advertisers.
  • Support UK agency sales team | identifying new opportunities and revenue streams & driving the strategic execution behind these
  • Oversee and support a large performance client and agency portfolio 
  • Manage and maintain a sales pipeline for the performance business
  • Share field intelligence and previous experience to central teams to improve and grow the performance offering
  • Present QBRs / Analyse campaign performance, issues and optimisation opportunities 
  • Identify new opportunities to leverage business and relationships
  • Attend weekly meetings/presentations with agencies and clients to discuss performance opportunities
  • Advise clients on best practices for performance campaigns
  • Educate and consult both internally and externally – driving new performance initiatives and product launches
  • Work closely with Head of Performance & Sales leads to drive revenue growth across agency landscape
  • Achieve performance sales targets

Experience/Background

  • You will be proficient (commercially and technically) in performance advertising (Display/Video preferred) solutions
  • Sound knowledge of the performance advertising industry
  • You will be extremely well connected across the UK advertising agency landscape
  • You will have an excellent track record of prospecting and selling advertising solutions in the digital media landscape.
  • You will have an intimate knowledge of everything digital and have an understanding of online video & display
  • You have a proven track record of winning large accounts
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strategically minded – ability to identify opportunities and execute strategies in order to win business
  • Ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Ability to resolve queries efficiently, to multitask, and communicate across teams
