Teads are looking for a Global Industry Director - Retail to join our growing Global Strategic Accounts team in London.
The Retail vertical is a critical growth lever with lots of expansion potential. The Industry director will be tasked with developing and implementing the strategy for how we build Retail into one of the biggest verticals at Teads.
Your role will be to build new relationships and partnerships with the largest Retail clients across 'Bricks and Mortar' and 'Pure Play' global and regional retail clients. In addition you will need to co-create the strategy for unlocking or step changing business with local market specific retailers ( ieTesco, carrefour) with the local Teads teams. You will also be working closely with the performance team and help shaping Teads product roadmap for this particular category.
This role offers the opportunity to join an industry pioneer which delivers full funnel advertising solutions, and is experiencing rapid global growth. Teads advertising solutions are bought by many of the world’s largest advertisers including P&G, Unilever, Nestle, Danone, Samsung, Apple, LVMH and many others. We have great solutions for Retail too and need you leverage these to accelerate growth with the top global, regional and local retail clients.
The Industry Director will report into the Global VP business development and work closely with the local markets , agency teams, Studio , data and insight teams.

- You’ll have overall responsibility for delivery of Global retail numbers and be the expert across these Retail clients.
- Build Global, regional and local retail strategy to make this one of our biggest verticals
- Build relations at the most senior level across all client departments (Media, Marketing, Insights, data) and with senior agency client partners and strategic planners to ensure they understand the Teads proposition and support/endorse Teads with their local markets
- Develop best in class communication and decks tailored to the needs of each retail client
- Support local teams to build best in class response to major client/agency briefs
- Share best practice with local markets teams

- Strong understanding and background in Retail
- Ability to build relationships with top marketing/media decision makers
- Proven experience in collaborative to build long term sustainable partnership growth (ideally in global /regional as well as local market roles)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Knowledge of online video, display and performance
- Proven leadership ability to influence, develop, and empower colleagues to achieve objectives with a team approach
- Proven ability to deliver results
