As Covid-19 continues to spread globally, Culture Trip is seeking Mandarin speaking creators to share their perspective on how the spread of the virus has affected daily lives in the location which they are based. If you're a Mandarin speaker and would like to create for us, please apply below.

Your profile:

  • Strong writing skills, from in-depth features to listicles.
  • Native-level Mandarin is required. Strong proficiency in English is desirable.
  • Experience writing for online Mandarin-language publications in travel, arts and culture.
  • Creative and full of great ideas for distinctive and engaging stories for a Chinese audience.
  • Strong research and communication skills with an interest in, and sensitivity to, cultural nuances.
  • In-depth knowledge of your city, and also the Coronavirus outbreak. 
  • Good understanding of Chinese social media platforms.
  • A degree in journalism or equivalent experience is highly desirable.
