YOUR PROFILE
7+ years of hands on experience installing, configuring, and administering Backup, Disaster Recovery and Storage infrastructure required.Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field. Will consider an equivalent combination of education and work experience.Perform debugging, tuning and performance enhancement as well as automation of operational and continuous integration.In-depth understanding of Backup solutions like Commvault, Veritas, Veeam.In-depth understanding of Storage solutions like IBM, EMC, Netapp and SAN Switch Networking.Troubleshooting skills on virtualization Software like HyperV, Vmware, KVM.Knowledge on administering File Server.Experience with Linux and Windows management.Knowledge on cloud deployment is a plus.Knowledge on endpoint backup is a plus.Production and maintenance of high-quality operational documentation.Providing overnight and off-hours support as part of a support team.Ability to function well in a team working independently and with good communication skills.Nimble and Adaptable in this environment.YOUR CHALLENGE
Responsible for the day-to-day administration of the storage area network (SAN) and Backups. Performs all maintenance, configuration and deployments to the SAN system. Provisions storage and monitors capacity. Research, recommend and implement infrastructure system needs in a proactive, timely and efficient manner.Works on storage related tasks such as zonning, volume creation, LUN provisioning and data migration.Assist with business continuity and disaster recovery processes for the infrastructure systems.Provides level 1, 2, and 3 support of the data protection environment.Conducts software installation and configuration for Windows, Linux/Unix Servers.Performs Backups all virtualizing enterprise applications (SQL, ORACLE, Web servers, Load Balancers, etc.).Conducts data protection reviews and documents best practices.Reports to management on overall health and operations of the data storage backup environment, and prepares monthly reports for management regarding backup operations.Collaborate with other members of the Tech department to assist in resolving problems with infrastructure products or company hardware systemsVendor Management and RMA, Technical support, data collection, and related action in supportChange Management, responsible for configuration, changes to existing configuration, implementation and decommissioning of Systems devices WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?
