The Who, What, Why and Where

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Content Marketer, focusing on customer stories, to be a key addition to Twilio's Content Marketing team. This role will be passionate about interviewing, writing, and gaining feedback and approval on a core part of our content program: customer stories.

This person will work closely with partners in the customer marketing team to lead the handoff from customer marketing, where potential stories are explored and vetted, to the content marketing team, where the stories are produced.

The person in this role will interview customers, write compelling narratives, and engage with internal and external partners to ensure 1. Customers are thrilled with their story, 2., Twilio’s products and use cases/solutions are represented accurately and thoughtfully; 3. Stories are published and shared across various channels to ensure visibility and enable teammates to demonstrate them to their highest value.

In addition to conducting interviews and writing and publishing stories, the person in this role will be responsible for maintaining and up-leveling several content properties that feature customer story content.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a teammate who lives the Twilio Magic, and has a proven track record of partnering with multiple partners to produce high-quality content. They should have:

  • 5+ years’ experience in interviewing and writing, ideally on sophisticated, technical subjects for a line-of-business audience;
  • 2+ years’ in a customer facing role;
  • Experiencing working closely with partners of all types, from SMEs to marketing to legal, to collate feedback, identify key narratives, and maintain narrative integrity throughout the review/revision process;
  • Excellent writing and storytelling skills;
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills;
  • A keen eye for detail and ideally, copy editing experience.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $74,944 - $103,048.

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $65,576 - $90,167.

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
