Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Technical Program Manager to be a key leader with US Number Ordering and Porting. The person in this role will lead all aspects of number functionality for Twilio’s OCN, including requesting codes & blocks, managing configuration of LRNs and utilization of numbers, reporting to NANPA, and managing porting activities to Twilio’s OCN. Reporting to the GM of Phone Numbers, this position is critical in supporting Twilio’s OCN and externally representing Twilio within industry groups supporting North America number management and Relief Planning. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of managing US number acquisitions and porting activities.  They also have:

  • 10+ years experience in telecommunications including but not limited to LNP roles, code admin functions, acquiring numbering resources from regulatory bodies, and VoIP numbering 
  • Strong preference for someone with prior experience in a leadership role focusing on number management at a telecommunications company and leadership
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant industry databases and systems such as NPAC, BIRRDS, LERG, SOA, NAS, PAS
  • Fluency in operations of number ordering and bulk porting activities at a CLEC or IPES company
  • The technical ability to understand software and recognize areas of product integration, discuss product roadmaps, and engage with product managers
  • Experience with the cloud, APIs, communications, and enterprise software is a plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

  • NO SHENANIGANS: Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment and discretion in forming new processes and improvements to current systems.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $120,832 - $151,040

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $105,728 - $132,160

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
