Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to hire, grow and develop a new engineering team in Bangalore, India. This key leader will have the opportunity to build our Enablement Engineering team from the ground up, and execute on our overarching mission to improve the productivity of our Services businesses, including Customer Support, Professional Services and Customer Success at Twilio.    

 

Your primary responsibilities will be to hire the best engineering talent, mentor and develop your team through regular feedback, and own the team to consistently deliver on time and on quality.  You serve as a trusted collaborator that builds positive relationships between engineering and our partners, internal teams and leadership.  To succeed in this role, you will have a strong sense of ownership for our engineering products, and possess a deep technical background to develop constant growth and innovation. Experience with developing full web stack applications and using modern Javascript frameworks is important for this role.

Our technical stack includes: Full-stack Javascript, ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, AWS (Lambda, EC2, SQS, S3), Terraform, Redis, Docker/Kubernetes, and Linux.
