Twilio is looking for a frontend engineer to join us in our mission of delighting developers as they build, deploy, and operate their Twilio applications. You’ll help us imagine and deliver the next generation of Twilio's front-end experiences that customers use every day. 

Who?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience (ex. internships or part-time roles)
  • Proficient background in networking and security
  • 2+ years of engineering experience with Javascript, React (or related frameworks), and CSS
  • Knowledge of unit, integration, and visual regression testing methodologies
  • Experience and passion for optimizing websites for performance
  • Bias for automation, leveraging existing tools to ensure stable, clean, well-tested code gets deployed to production

As a Front End Engineer, you will live the Twilio Magic values:

  • BE AN OWNER: Build and operate your team's services in a production environment leveraging an owner-operator DevOps model; ensure quality by writing unit, integration, and regression tests.
  • DRAW THE OWL: Collaborate with the team to tackle complex problems in distributed computing.
  • DON'T SETTLE: Develop monitoring & alerting solutions that keep our systems' health top of mind.
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER'S SHOES: Balance the needs of internal developers against the broader needs of Twilio customers.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado.

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

$90,752 - $124,784

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
