The Who, What, Why and Where

Twilio is looking for a Product Analyst to support the Voice and Video business unit.  If you are analytical, like to deal with ambiguity and lots of data, and want to influence important product decisions this position is a great fit.

Who?

Twilio is looking for a product analyst who lives the Twilio Magic and is highly collaborative and self-driven.  They also have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a data analyst, product analyst, financial analyst, engineering, consulting or business operations role 
  • Experience with data visualization, statistics, analytics, machine learning models and/or data preparation/cleansing
  • Experience working with tools such as Salesforce, Looker, Tableau, Excel, or SQL is important
  • Understanding of enterprise software and/or consumption based services is a plus 
  • BS in Mathematics, Computer Science or Engineering equivalent experience required

  • Draw the Owl and Ruthlessly Prioritize: Proactive analysis working with business unit leaders to support strategic initiatives such as use case analysis, growth opportunities, COGS breakdown, product mix investments and usage.
  • Be An owner and Write It Down: Targeted analytics to support key product questions in different areas to make investment decisions, decide on product functionality and to make tradeoffs
  • Be Inclusive: Partner with PMs in different areas to help think through, define and track KPIs that are leading indicators of product success. 
  • Empower Others: Help create a data-driven culture within the business unit by enabling the team to be self-sufficient around a single source of truth. 
  • Be Bold: Drive analytics and data initiatives cross-functionally across PM, engineering, finance, sales ops, marketing and other business units.
