The Who, What, Why and Where

Twilio is growing rapidly and seeking a Senior Accountant, COGS to be a key contributor on our Carrier Relations Accounting team. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position will ensure our COGS are accurate and will partner internally to understand what improvements are being made to our routing process and anticipate accounting impacts. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a key contributor  who lives the Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of thriving in a fast paced environment.  They also have:

  • 3+  years of accounting/finance experience, including experience in public accounting with B.S. in Accounting/Business Administration or the equivalent experience. 
  • Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and SOX.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excited to learn new things and take on additional tasks to support the team.
  • CPA/CA license or working toward their CPA/CA.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well.

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Tier 4 base salary range: $68,096.00 - $93,632.00

Rest of Colorado:

Tier 5 base salary range: $59,584.00 - $81,928.00

Non Sales: Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
