Twilio is growing fast and looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join our globally distributed Flex R&D organization on our Flex Contact Center Operations team. Flex is Twilio’s flagship contact center solution and is a unique product that provides our customers with the building blocks they need to meet their needs. A key component of the Flex solution includes providing tools and capabilities for two customer personas, the contact center manager and the developer that is customizing and maintaining the Flex deployment. Flex Contact Center Ops provides abilities for contact center managers to configure operational settings as well as providing capabilities for developers to add custom code and plugins to their Flex deployment. To support the rapid growth of Flex, we are building a new team in Denver to deliver these features.  We are looking for a motivated individual to lead our Test Automation strategy in Denver, as well as be a champion for quality across the Flex organization.

Who?

  • 5+ years of software development and/or testing experience
  • Proficient in a modern development language such as Java or Python
  • Experience with developing and designing automated tests
  • Expert in Quality Assurance testing techniques
  • Ability to translate architecture vision into concrete system designs
  • Champion of good engineering habits: development techniques, security, tech debt balance, agile processes, etc
  • Strong communication skills: in person, on paper, or in code. You can explain technical concepts to product managers, other engineers, and support
  • Passion for quality code and building things
