The Who, What, Why and Where

The Email Infrastructure team is building a world-class platform for Twilio’s email service. Our mission is to provide every Email Platform engineer with the tools they need to successfully build reliable, scalable, secure products at speed.  We need a talented manager to ensure the success of the core services infrastructure team as it embarks on this mission.

As an Infrastructure Engineering manager, you will live the Twilio Magic values:

 

  • WRITE IT DOWN:  Define, document, and promote standards and practices for engineers to follow to help them efficiently create high quality platform services.

  • BE BOLD:  Set the bar for highly scalable Kubernetes deployments through a clear vision and fast execution.  
  • DRAW THE OWL:  Build and support a platform that enables on-premise and cloud deployments of Kubernetes clusters to multiple infrastructure providers 
  • BE AN OWNER:  Drive efficiency in the delivery organization by automating software lifecycle best practices into the container orchestration platform. Provide meaningful insights into the operation of our platform through reporting and service definitions.
  • WEAR THE CUSTOMER'S SHOES:  Let the most pressing problems of our customer’s drive innovative solutions that promote highly scalable, stable, easily operable services.  
  • BE INCLUSIVE:  Be a good listener.  Incorporate the voices from peers, your team and your customers to ensure the best solutions are the ones that are prioritized.
