About the job

As a founding team member in your region, you will enable the Twilio Expert Services team to bring deep implementation experience to the most important customers in your market, creating marquee implementations and customer relationships that fuel Twilio’s growth for years to come.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll:

  • Work on paid engagements leading implementations for our top customers. 
  • Work with account executives and customers to evaluate how services, packaging, and pricing should be customized to make your region successful. 
  • Travel when needed to run discovery and project planning sessions with customers.
  • Create project plans that help customers efficiently and successfully drive their projects to production, and oversee their implementation with a combination of on-site and remote meetings.
  • Report on bookings, projects, and services delivered in your region. 
  • From your unique position working closely with the largest customers, serve as an important advocate for customer needs, relaying information back to sales, product, support, and others.
  • Ultimately, create a great experience for Twilio customers and help Twilio services scale to make even more customers wildly successful.

Required:

  • 8 +years of experience as a professional services consultant for a technology vendor, system integrator or consulting firm
  • 3+ years of experience as a program manager, people manager or team leader
  • Understanding of Cloud platforms and API-based architectures
  • Experience with at least one of the major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English & Japanese, ability to communicate with technical teams and senior management

Desired:

  • Certifications (desired but not required): Scrum, SaFE, PMP, Prince 2, Togaf



Location 

This role will be based in our Tokyo office.
