The Who, What, Why and Where

Twilio’s Elastic SIP Trunking team is growing rapidly and seeking a Software Engineer to be a key contributor in making Twilio the most loved SIP Trunking provider. The person in this role will collaborate with other team members to build trunking features while operating & scaling systems and mentoring junior members of the team. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a Software Engineer who has a demonstrated track record of successfully delivering projects. They also have:

  • 4+ years hands-on experience in cloud application development using Java/C++ or .NET technologies.
  • Extensive experience scaling production backend systems. You can design and develop horizontally-scalable, resilient and performing-under-load systems.  
  • Hands on experience with cloud technologies such as Amazon Web Services, OpenStack or Azure.
  • Capable of operating from conception through continuous operation of 24x7 services.  
  • Ideally, you have experience in a production DevOps environment.
  • Experience working with VOIP Protocols is highly desirable. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
