Twilio is growing and seeking a highly organized individual who thrives at working in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The Special Projects & Events Coordinator will help organize the Developer Relations team’s events, special projects, and the logistical/operational aspects of internal marketing initiatives. They will be responsible for coordinating and supporting 3rd party and 1st party events, as well as special projects and initiatives aimed at improving Twilio’s brand awareness. They’ll continue to build-on the systems and processes needed to ensure that contracts are executed in a timely manner, invoices are paid promptly, event supplies are always available from vendors and arrive at a venue on time. All done within a system that has visibility and accountability baked in. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a leader who lives the Twilio Magic and should also have the following qualifications: 

  • Ability to speak and write in English fluently 
  • 1-2 years experience in marketing, operations, administration, project management or event management
  • Ability to think outside the box and bring creative ideas to the table to support marketing efforts
  • Strong in developing processes and making things programmatic/thinking at scale
  • Experience collaborating with third party vendors and geographically diverse teams to achieve successful results
  • Experience in spotting blockers and dependency problems in advance of impact and moving solutions for these blockers forward
  • Experience using Airtable or similar tools
