Twilio is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales Operations Analytics team.  This is a great role for someone with an analytical background looking to drive insight into the sales operations space. This person knows the value of data driven insight and wants to bring analytical rigor to the sales operations environment, both within the sales operations team and more directly with the sales team.

You are right for this role if you are skilled at data interpretation and analysis, experienced in presenting data-driven insights, and can adapt to new analytical frameworks quickly. You’re able to take open ended questions and drive to answers using data  that at times can be scattered across multiple sources.

You are a results-oriented individual who is motivated to tackle complex problems, has a "can do" attitude, and is comfortable asking questions. 

Who?:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Operations or Analytics role in Software / Technology industry
  • Experienced Salesforce user - can understand data models, custom objects, and reporting
  • Proficient in SQL
  • Experienced in collecting data across multiple sources
  • Experienced in finding and presenting data driven insight based on executive hypotheses
  • Excellence in structuring complex problems, developing solutions, and crafting recommendations concisely and effectively
  • Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate complex data models
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Additional Skills:

  • Experience in fast growing Software company 
  • Experience/Familiarity with data modeling or sales commission processes
  • Experience supporting Sales organizations around the Globe
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Proficiency in Tableau
  • Strong understanding of relational data models
  • Salesforce reporting and dashboarding

Why?

The Sales Operations Analytics team is a new but vital part of the sales operations environment in Twilio. This group focuses their efforts on designing and implementing solutions to large scale, cross functional programs. In addition to our work on improving our sales systems, policies, and processes, we are launching an analytically focused component that will start reporting on sales operations’ quantifiable areas of success and opportunity.

This role will focus on providing data driven insight to sales and sales operations. After developing a detailed knowledge of our usage based revenue attribution model, you will provide guidance and assistance to the field to ensure accuracy and precision in their deal structure and forecasting for leadership. You will also use data visualization to provide analytical support to sales ops, including teams such as compensation and contracts. This role will help drive a new level of data informed decision making within the sales operations team, and will help set some of the internal KPIs by which the department will make its long term decisions.
