Twilio is looking for a curious and action-oriented BI Analyst with a can do attitude. An ideal candidate will be technically strong, have a good business acumen and can communicate well with all levels of partners. He/she is a strategic thinker, proactive and creative in finding problems and solutions, leading projects and getting things done.

Who?

Twilio is looking for an BI Engineer who lives in Twilio Magic. They also have:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in analytics and data science or similar fields, in a fast paced industry and 2+ years of people mentoring the team member experience.
  • Ability to think strategically and initiate, refine and complete projects proactively with minimal mentorship and to supervise junior BI analysts with their projects.
  • Expert level knowledge in SQL and relational and multidimensional database schemas and designs.
  • Strong in python (e.g. pandas, numpy, scikit-learn) or R for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong in advanced analytics and machine learning, such as predictive analytics, regression, hypothesis testing, causal analysis.
  • Experience in BI tool architectures, functions and features.
  • Familiar with Tableau and Looker (LookML) including cloud server management, user access management, site and group management.
  • Experience with data warehousing and/or ETL processes, and distributed computing (Hive/Presto) and Snowflake.
  • Experience with compliance, audit, user access control process and data governance.
  • Demonstrated leadership and self-direction. Willingness to both teach others and learn new techniques.
  • Experience project management and Agile delivery methods.
