We are seeking a talented and motivated Product Manager to help lead products that enable Twilio SendGrid to support customers across all of our product lines. As a Product Manager for our analytics infrastructure, you will have the opportunity to lead the strategic direction and roadmap for our analytics capabilities. Your work will have a direct impact on the business and the future of our product by providing customers with a single-source-of-truth for the latest data and modern, cloud-based tools for analysis and visualization. You will collaborate with a diverse scrum team of engineers, architects, marketing, and product managers to develop both operation and technical improvements to the data platform and offering. 

Who?

Twilio is looking for a product leader who lives Twilio Magic and has a demonstrated track record of managing complex products.  They also have:

  • Strong Customer Focus: Seek deep understanding of target customers to understand their problems,  and arrive at elegant solutions to those problems. Discover, collect, analyze and communicate problems and opportunities with the analytics tools and experience
  • Strategic View: Define the vision, roadmap, and strategy for analytics capabilities in partnership with key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Tenacious Drive for Outcomes: To convey problem statements and solutions to engineering with credibility and conviction, and drive highly productive outcomes across the scrum teams you lead.  Work with stakeholders to drive the adoption of new analytic features and tools; identify KPIs, success and exit criteria and quantify the impact of adoption programs. 
  • Big Data: Have the ability to envision and develop products that scale. 
  • Cross Functional Leader Mindset: To communicate clearly and crisply, to pull the right levers cross-functionally to get your products launched and supported, and to develop trusting relationships internally that can rally the entire organization to ensure your product achieves intended business outcomes. Champion ideas to provide continuous improvements to the analytics platform to make data-driven decisions.
  • At least 5 years under your belt defining and delivering analytics capabilities at a top-tier consumer or enterprise software company
  • Significant experience with data engineering, data ingestion as well as query and visualization capabilities 
  • Know how to leverage metrics and KPIs effectively to inform decisions, set requirements, and evaluate success
  • Love inspiring teams, managing complexity, driving operational excellence, and delivering extraordinary results.
  • Exceptional business and communication skills.
  • 8+ years experience working with AWS, Google, Azure or other public cloud providers
  • BA/BS degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent experience

Absorb multiple internal and external inputs and use that information to define product strategy, prioritize the backlog, and make difficult priority calls based on data and analysis
  • EMPOWER OTHERS: Communicate  your projects internally to stakeholders, to our customers, and to our partners. Partner closely with the architecture team to align the technical and product roadmaps for maximum impact. 
  • NO SHENANIGANS: Ensure the consistent exercise of appropriate judgment and discretion in evaluating opportunities, communicating prioritization decisions, and delivering projects via a Scaled Agile development process.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $120,832.00 - $166,144.00

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $105,728.00 - $145,376.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
