Twilio is looking for a talented, passionate and experienced product leader to join the team responsible for the core Programmable Video experience . As a product manager in this group you will be responsible for delivering the vision and strategy for the future of virtual communication experiences and working with our engineering teams to deliver on that vision.  

Who?

Twilio is looking for a senior product manager with a demonstrated track record of identifying customer needs, setting vision, driving execution, and launching high value products. 

  • You have 5+ years experience as a Product Manager for a technology company.  
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. You can tailor your message based on the audience.
  • You have experience shipping products in a fast-paced environment, overcoming obstacles and delivering customer value
  • You have experience leading cross functional teams and know how to get the best out of your team
  • You are data driven with strong analytical skills
  • You have experience writing code - for fun, college, or work. We are looking for someone with a technical bent to communicate with our engineers and engineering management, as well as our engineering-focused customers.
  • You have worked with Enterprise customers in the past and understand what it takes to deliver and enterprise-grade solution
  • Experience with media communication technologies; including real time audio and video, and media transport protocols is a plus.

As a Product Manager on the Technology Platform team, you will live the Twilio Magic values:

BE AN OWNER: Own the long-term product vision for the Twilio Video virtual communication experiences (Video Groups, Video P2P). Represent your product roadmap and business metrics to Twilio’s executives, customers, and to product teams across the company

WEAR THE CUSTOMER’S SHOES: Spend time with customers to deeply understand the problems they are trying to solve and help them to be successful. Discover market opportunities by deeply understanding customer needs and leveraging market trends

RUTHLESSLY PRIORITIZE: Prioritize your backlog to ensure you are always delivering the highest value features. Manage project plans for on-time development and release. Ensure that engineering is working on the right things at the right time.

DRAW THE OWL: Work closely with engineers on product solutions by iterating on API mocks, UI wireframes, and whiteboarding technical implementations. Work with your teams to evolve existing services and define new ones. Craft the developer experience.

WRITE IT DOWN: Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication - ensure that complex ideas, thoughts, and vision can be communicated simply and effectively. Deliver product requirements documentation, developer facing documentation and marketing documentation.

In accordance with applicable law, the following represents Twilio's reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation for this role if hired in Colorado. Please note that this information is provided for those hired in Colorado only, and this role is open to candidates outside of Colorado as well. 

Salary:

Denver/Boulder Metro:

Salary Range: $120,832.00 - $166,144.00

Rest of Colorado:

Salary Range: $105,728.00 - $145,376.00

Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Twilio's equity plan.
