About the Varo Operations Team
We’ve designed a best in class servicing strategy that fits the lifestyle of our target customers. Come and help us bring that strategy to life! We’re a rapidly growing group, which means you’ll have the opportunity to learn, design, and contribute to something amazing. We need people who are excited to solve problems and build the bank of the future! We value flexibility, which is one of the things we are hiring for. Our current call pattern is dictating evening and weekend shifts. If and when that changes, we are looking to hire team members who are willing and flexible to change with the call patterns that will fluctuate with growth, marketing campaigns and times of year.

What you'll do

  • You will provide exceptional customer service, primarily over the phone, as well email, as you guide the conversation to resolution 
  • You will exceed when it comes to logic and solving puzzles
  • You will seek challenges and take them on because you thrive on getting ahead
  • You won’t always have all of the answers, but you won’t stop at getting them
  • Support customer onboarding, ensuring Varo is compliant with “Know Your Customer” regulations
  • Required skills, experiences, and traits

  • You have ingenuity, creativity, and resourcefulness in an environment that you can control
  • You have a passion for providing excellent service to all customers
  • Your experience in financial services, call centers, or other service industries, propels you to excel in this new opportunity

  • Willingness and flexibility to work during our posted business hours:
  • Weekends 11:00 am -7:30 pm ET
    Weekdays 8:00 am - 9:00 pm ET.


    Some important details to help you decide

    Shift times:
  • Morning shifts 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM ET
  • Evening shifts 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM ET
  • Weekend shifts 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM ET

  • Pay is $16-$17 per hour.

  • Location - temporarily remote.
