We’re looking for a Senior Compliance Associate-Lending Products who has a growth mindset, is a self-starter, enjoys a fast-paced working environment, has a handle on consumer compliance regulations and product development in a financial services environment, and enjoys working creatively to solve business problems in a compliant manner.  You’ll be working in the “second line of defense” in our “three lines of defense” risk strategy.

What you'll be doing

  • Collaborate with the Product and Operations teams on the development of  new products, services, and processes to build compliance into the products from the start.  A mastery of critical lending, servicing, and collections regulations will include Reg Z, Reg B, UDAP/UDAP, FCRA/FACTA, BSA/CIP, FDCPA, and down the line, perhaps TRID and RESPA, too.  
  • Collaborate with the Legal Department on the review of Account Agreements and Disclosures.
  • Review BRDs and JIRA tickets related to lending products.
  • Collaborate with Lending Operations on the development of FAQs, procedures, and training programs related to lending products and services.
  • Assist in developing online training modules for Regulations related to lending and collections processes.
  • Participate in RSCA updates for products and services related to lending products.
  • You’ll bring the following required skills and experiences

  • J.D. preferred
  • Experience in regulatory and consumer compliance in the Banking/ FinTech Space
  • A passion for and dedication to detail 
  • Experience managing multiple projects, in a fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Able to adapt to quick changes in direction
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and thought-leadership
  • A very high level of intellectual curiosity; driven to use technology to solve compliance challenges
