ABOUT THE TRAINING TEAM
Varo’s Training Team is unlike any Training Team you’ve been a part of. We are a group of passionate, hardworking, creative individuals who work together to create an enjoyable learning and development environment. We are responsible for teaching employees (new or tenured) about Varo’s product, policies, and procedures. As the Training Team we are the first face of Varo for our employees and we get the privilege of teaching employees how to be the face of Varo for our customers. We are firm believers that a fun work environment is the best work environment.

We are opening a new virtual site in Charlotte North Carolina.
New hire training will be Monday - Friday from 10:30 AM - 7:30 PM Eastern Time (8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Mountain Time).

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

  • Create and facilitate training for agents, following the process from beginning to end ensuring that each agent is capable of performing job duties as though they were a Varo agent 
  • Work with the Onboarding Team to ensure that all new hires have the tools and access they need to begin training
  • Develop employee’s skills and competencies 
  • Modify training style to fit individual learning styles 
  • Identify gaps and solutions in processes and procedures within the company and the Training Team
  • Create and facilitate tests and quizzes for participants who attended training and for participants who are working towards a promotion 
  • Coordinate the scheduling of training for yourself, department training, and new hire training for offshore agents
  • Create and maintain training records
  • Assist in multiple simultaneous projects throughout multiple departments
  • Work closely with department leads at Varo and with our leadership to determine new and ongoing training needs

  • Positive attitude x100
  • Remote training experience
  • Minimum one year of training experience in a Training Department 
  • Banking operations experience
  • Experience with training agents and/or remote teams
  • Experience with training a new hire group of at least 10 trainees 
  • Thorough knowledge of different learning styles including Adult Learning Techniques
  • Experience training using a Learning Management System in addition to computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite, and G Suite
  • Lover of snacks
