We're making Africa the first cashless continent.

In 2017, nearly 60% of adults in sub-Saharan Africa had no bank account. That's for good reason—the fees are too high, the closest branch can be miles away, and nobody takes cards. Without access to financial institutions, people are forced to keep their savings under the mattress. Small business owners rely on lenders who charge extortionate rates. Parents spend hours waiting in line to pay school fees in cash.

We're solving this problem by building financial services that just work: no account fees, instantly available, and accepted everywhere. In places where electricity, water and roads don't always work, you can still send money with Wave. In November 2017, we launched a mobile app in Senegal for cash deposit, withdrawal, and peer-to-peer and business payments. In August 2019, we expanded to Cote d'Ivoire. How you'll help us achieve it

We’re looking for a Support agents training rep who’s resourceful and excited about getting things done. You'll be responsible to assess agents that have been trained by our Agent trainer and you will also be providing remote training to agents. You'll be working from the support office.

In this role, you'll:

  • Conduct remote training assessments & Survey
  • Handle and respond to daily agent training request
  • Organize daily agents training based on request and observation
  • Develop creative and innovative approaches to present training programs to agents
  • Write daily/Weekly notes

Tasks :

  • Train agents through the phone from the support office
  • Track agent assessments, training & feedbacks
  • Daily Report on your activities
  • Call and invite agents to in-region trainings organized by the trainers
  • Ensure Agents in your daily tasks list are fully trained with up to date content

Key details

  • Location: Abidjan head office
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Work authorization in Côte d’Ivoire required
  • This is a permanent position 
  • Strong oral and written skills
  • Previous experience as a support rep and/or a trainer
  • Proficiency with computer & android phones
  • Previous experience with Agent Network
