Who We Are

The Partner Operations team enables the commercial success of Wayfair by guiding and supporting our supplier partners towards the supply chain set up and performance that unlocks their success in the online market. As an Associate Director of Partner Operations, you will be the owner of a portfolio of one or more large categories and will be responsible for scaling key suppliers - solving complex business problems across operations, logistics, technology to achieve hyper growth.

Being a part of Partner Operations means you enjoy developing and driving category-level strategies and operating analytically to get results. Strong communication is critical for your success given you will interact with almost every function and team at Wayfair and frequently engage in dialogue with Wayfair leaders and executives of our key supplier partners to ensure alignment is tight and priorities are agreed upon. You will closely partner with the leadership of the Category Management organization assuming the role of a COO while they act as CEO for your respective categories.

Due to the importance of this role, we are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial, data driven leader who can work well cross-functionally, develop and coach a high performing team, build and articulate a strategic vision for several categories, and develop meaningful relationships with Wayfair’s supplier base. At Wayfair, we pride ourselves on having leaders who are “manager-doers”, enjoy getting their hands dirty, and love being a utility player. Their desire to understand not only Wayfair’s vision but also immerse themselves in day-to-day activities have made Wayfair successful and an amazing place to work.

new and existing supplier partners that are critical to category success
  • Enable a diverse set of internal stakeholders: Execute a cohesive strategic plan in a matrix organization with ownership divided across specialized team which requires understanding, influencing, and motivating many different teams and individuals

Wayfair works fast and needs a leader who utilizes data to drive action and bring confidence to stakeholders that teams are focusing on the right priorities and areas of the business
