   As part of our ambitious expansion plans, we are seeking a Partner Operations Manager to support the growing needs of our Asia Partners Solutions team.  As Wayfair’s primary supplier facing operations team, we drive high value engagement within Wayfair’s ever growing supplier base and this team is focused on Wayfair's supplier partners who are based in Asia.  The Partner Operations team acts as a chief advisor to our suppliers to drive forecast alignment, demand planning, inventory allocation, and fulfillment strategies.  We do this through strategic account management and a structured sales environment. We create specific solutions for our supplier portfolio with the goal of launching and scaling their business in new Wayfair geographies. What You’ll Do

 

  • Be the main point of contact  between supply market and destination market.
  • Drive overall supply strategy, coordinating with destination markets (NA/CAN/EU) to align on Demand and Supply planning/strategy,
  • Develop a feedback loop for suppliers to drive availability, speed, & reliability. 
  • Own the business strategy and performance reporting. 
  • Design and implement the transformational supply chain strategy and process improvements to achieve scalability.
  • Build and grow existing relationships through continuous analysis of performance and identifying new opportunities for expansion
  • Maintain industry expertise; keep abreast of trends and new product ideas
  • Recognize, document, and share trends in supplier inquiries and challenges with senior team members
  • Lead improvement of tools and processes which make our team and suppliers more efficient and effective


What You’ll Need

  • over 7 years of professional experience in partnerships, management consulting, sales or account management
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin 
  • Demonstrated ability to guide team to implement impactful strategies while also pushing forward as a manager-doer against your own priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to take ambiguous goals and formulate strategy for a large scale project with multiple interdependencies  
  • Innovative leadership style, looking for an opportunity to lead product category verticals strategy and execution
  • Strong analytical experience and ability to operate with large data sets to identify trends and actionable takeaways
  • Detail-oriented and has strong client or customer management experience
  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to speak to business owners and senior supplier executives at eye level
  • Demonstrated senior presence, recognized as an effective manager - experience managing others, preferred
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, supply chain, or logistics, a plus
  • Ability to hit the ground running – a confident, entrepreneurial self-starter
  • Supply Chain Consulting experience a plus
