Account Planner

The Account Planner team plays a key role in facilitating sales by assisting account managers with pre-sales activities and support. This role is crucial in helping account managers balance their book of business, increase sales, and ultimately improve customer satisfaction. The account planner team is constantly adapting to the changing needs of the department and we are looking for an adaptable self-starter who is ready to contribute to the success of the department. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide account managers with pre-order sales support including but not limited to SKU creation, supplier negotiation, procurement, quote creation, and placing orders
  • Maintain task SLAS and consistent time logging 
  • Partner with the Business Solutions Group, Category Management and other cross functional teams to provide custom solutions to complex orders 
  • Identify new opportunities to streamline or improve upon an account’s process 

 Requirements

  • Demonstrates clear and proactive communication practices 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage their time effectively 
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally 
  • Analytical, creative, and innovative approach to solving problems.
  • Experience with internal systems including Salesforce, Partner Home, quote tool etc.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience at Wayfair in a sales oriented role
