The successful candidate will support the growth of Wayfair Delivery Network (WDN) in the UK and Germany and bring in best practices of administrative  discipline to our operations.

What You'll Do:

  • Perform extensive data entry into various business systems;  Maintain Management Information System such as cost reports, trackers.
  • Create purchase orders,  process invoices and liaise with suppliers to resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain a close working relationship with all Wayfair Delivery Network and Finance functions
  • Provide close support to the leadership with regard to their general office requirements, employee engagement, managing mails, appointments, files etc.
  • Support facilities management (security, visitors, cleaning, catering etc.) including conducting daily site checks and raising concerns to relevant teams (cleaners, maintenance, IT and Security).
  • Maintain stock control of warehouse consumable and office supplies.
  • Perform other job-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned to you from time to time by the Company and/or your supervisor or manager.

 

What You'll Need:

  • Previous experience in an administrative position  (minimum 1 year ) is essential. 
  • Experienced in working within a fast-paced warehousing, distribution or relevant environment is an advantage.
  • An effective team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills with strong planning and forward-thinking capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, and provide a high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Suite (G-Mail, GoogleSheets, GoogleForms); ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively across all levels of the organisation and build internal and external relationships.
  • Flexible and able to handle ad-hoc issues that may arise outside of core business.
