Analyst, ISC North America Sales and Service

Wayfair is looking for a talented professional to help drive ISC services by directly creating products and tools that help ensure usage of ISC services as well as profitability for CastleGate Logistics. You will leverage data analysis, execution, and collaboration to drive visibility into our various ISC services such as Port to Door (P2D), Asia Consolidation (AC), Port to Door as a Service (P2DaaS), Supplier Success, Cargo Protect, as well as other services which will fall within ISC.  The ideal candidate will have a bias for action coupled with intellectual curiosity to increase ways for suppliers to sign on to our various services, increase margin, create accurate pricing and volume forecasts, and help revamp and improve ISC analytical tools for the following contract year.  

What You’ll Do: 

  • Work closely with CastleGate Profitability team to build out forecasting analysis for ISC services as well as create and revamp ISC tools (pricing calculators) to provide greater visibility and pin point analysis on profitability.  
  • Communicate products, findings, deliverables, and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear, concise, professional, courteous, and timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams (partner operations, ISC operations, CG Profitability, product/engineering, analytics, etc.)to develop execution plans that increase usage for ISC services. 
  • Create profitability analyses and calculators for ISC products used in supplier negotiations
  • Create and manage ISC product portfolio margin tracker updating leadership on progress to volume and margin targets as sales are completed and contracts are executed
  • Support supplier segmentation and Go-to-Market strategy creation for ISC suppliers including supplier research / interviews as required
  • Analyze forecasted and actual data to identify supply chain road blocks which may occur with too much or too little inventory. 
  • Execute on additional tasks and projects to look at forecasted volume and offer predictions as to what is required to accommodate that forecasted volume. 

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science , Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in supply chain management is a plus 
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize projects and tasks appropriately
  • Microsoft Excel/spreadsheet experience and comfort operating with large data sets to identify trends, drill into specific details, make recommendations, and deliver upon desired outcomes.  It will be expected that SQL and Tableau skills will advance the more you are in this role. 
  • Innovative problem-solving skills with a tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Articulate and persuasive communication skills, both written and verbal for internal problem dissection and resolution as well as customer-facing communications
  • Experience working in supply chain operations is a plus
  • Hands-on experience conducting quantitative and qualitative analysis on large data sets
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
