Sr. Analyst, Supplier Satisfaction Measurement

We are seeking an experienced analyst to join our supplier satisfaction measurement team at Wayfair. This team is responsible for gathering, analyzing, and distributing qualitative and quantitative satisfaction data from suppliers to help business leaders make decisions on the evolution of the supplier experience. This person will be responsible for helping to build out the analytical backbone of our supplier satisfaction ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has a strong business consumer intuition and a background in analytics, ideally focusing on sentiment data. You will have a record of quantifiable success and experience working cross-functionally in a data-driven, fast-paced, high-growth company. Specifically, we are seeking an experienced analyst and data designer who is interested in building out new ways of understanding satisfaction data. This person would work closely with the teams which develop the supplier experience across the organization to increase the visibility of supplier sentiment and drive insight-to-improvement from our efforts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop the data foundations and analytical methods to understand the value of supplier feedback, identify where it is best placed within the supplier journey, and analyze differences between segments and different supplier contact profiles 
  • Develop innovative analytical methodologies to answer strategic business questions across the organization with regards to supplier success
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to effectively communicate insights from various analyses
  • Contribute innovative ideas to help shape a relatively new set of workstreams, and continue to drive impact across the organization
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in product and service to implement new supplier feedback collection opportunities across our platform
     
     

 What You'll Need

  • A Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a quantitative field (math, economics, statistics, physics, engineering, etc.)
  • 2+ years of work experience at a consulting firm or technology startup in an analytical role 
  • Strong quantitative skills; a demonstrated ability to develop analytical methodologies and assumptions, use data software to conduct the analyses, and synthesize findings
  • Be intellectually curious, passionate, and have a strong work ethic
  • Experience working with, normalizing, and synthesizing large amounts of unstructured data into actionable insights
  • Ability to identify and succinctly summarize roadblocks and constraints, propose potential solutions, and drive towards resolution
  • Attention to detail with strong quality control
  • Proficiency with SQL/Big Query required, knowledge of Python or another programming language is preferred including a desire to develop the skill set
  • Experience with Google Data Studio and/or Looker preferred
