At Wayfair, Product Managers are responsible for providing the vision, execution and analysis necessary to delight customers with world-class experiences on our global web sites and apps. The Payments & Fraud teams are building a state of the art infrastructure to offer our customers the optimal payment experience while minimizing the impact of fraud. This growing cross-functional team is focused on expanding the e-commerce platform with emphasis on efficiency, scalability, and profitability, with real-time impact on the entire organization.

We are looking for a passionate Associate Product Director who loves to solve complex technical problems, learns fast, shares knowledge, and balances generating value for our customers with reducing technical debt. Primary focus will be on Account Takeovers.

We have built a truly cross-functional team of software engineers, data scientists, product managers and data analysts. We aspire for a modern, best-in-class architecture to enable our business to scale to the fullest of our potential. This includes analyzing fraud trends and will involve understanding Account Takeover vectors, third party solutions and internal dependencies.

This role presents significant technical, design, and leadership opportunities with enormous potential for business impact. Successful candidates will be highly entrepreneurial, analytical, are creative problem-solvers and come with a wealth of relevant experience.

What You'll Do

  • Take the leadership position for Account Takeover at Wayfair, defining the vision, strategy, and objectives in cooperation with Security, Fraud, and Authentication teams, and leading teams to execute, measure, and iterate 
  • Partner with the Authentication team to align roadmap for preventing ATOs at login to measurable outcomes that ladder up to the overall ATO strategy
  • Coordinate ongoing initiatives to overall Account Takeover policies and implement new improvements in business processes
  • Partner with Security, Authentication, and Fraud to develop  and document comprehensive policies for Wayfair (specific to Account Takeover)
  • As single accountable owner, hold teams accountable to outcomes, identify gaps, and work with the cross-functional team & leadership to fill gaps
  • Analyze new fraud risk trends and provide recommendations for remediation
  • Develop internal relationships across risk partner teams (Login & Authentication, Security and Fraud)

What You’ll Need
Passion about building great products to solve customer and business problems

  • High ownership, with willingness to personally fill in gaps in the short term while long-term plans to close them are realized
  • Extensive experience in Product Management
  • Proven analytical skills with demonstrated experience turning data into actionable insights. Using data to identify trends and anomalies, and to make recommendations for new plans
  • Ability to inspire a team to build new solutions, iterate quickly from the ideation phase through to launch, and outline how your choices solved problems and moved specific KPIs
  • Great spoken and written communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with senior management, tech teams, vendors and line teams
